Difference between PA and SPF ?
A sunscreen is designed to protect your skin
against UV radiation ; UVA and UVB
UVA is a type of radiation that penetrates deep into the skin, and can cause various forms of damage such as blemishes, freckles, dark spots, and skin cancer. PA is an index that measures the ability of a sunscreen to protect the body from UVA rays.
UVB radiation is absorbed primarily in the outer layer of the skin called the epidermis. It is responsible for causing sunburn, skin aging, and increasing the risk of skin cancer. The higher the SPF number, the greater the protection against sunburn and other harmful effects of UVB radiation.
